Foden
The Foden's competition is being held online this year

The solo finalists who will perform in the 10th Foden's Solo & Ensemble competition on Friday 30th October have been announced.

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus restrictions the event moved online, but attracted well over 70 entrants from across the banding world who sent in their performances via Foden's Facebook page. The entries have already been viewed over 140,000 times.

Tough decision

Foden's Band Manager and principal cornet Mark Wilkinson told 4BR: "The standard has been incredibly high and it was a very tough decision making process."

There is still time to get entries in for the Ensemble (4 to 10 players) and Percussion sections, with a deadline of the 28th October.

Further details can be obtained via darren@fodensband.co.uk

The adjudicators for these sections are Michael Fowles and Mark Landon.

Grand Final

The Grand Final will be broadcast via www.youtube.com/fodensband1900 on Friday 30th October commencing at 7.00pm.

The adjudicators for the heats will also be joined by Bramwell Tovey, David Childs, Russell Gray and Simone Rebello.

Foden's would like to thank all competitors for submitting entries, Kapitol Promotions and Brass Band World for their support and Arts Council England.
