Embrace something small...

The next Brass Bands England webinar will see David Thornton asking why we should look more closely at small group playing...

Thornton
David Thornton will lead the webinar

The next in the series of popular Brass Bands England webinars will see David Thornton lead a presentation on why players should embrace the discipline of small group and ensemble playing.

Opportunity?

David is the Senior Tutor in Brass Bands at the Royal Northern College of Music and will pose the question whether small group rehearsals are a limitation or an opportunity?

The session will also include pre-recorded footage of a workshop with a quartet of RNCM students with the opportunity to ask David pertinent questions about all aspects of small group playing.

This workshop is relevant for conductors and players alike to make the most out of rehearsals with fewer players than usual.
