A cheeky chance for a blow...

Despite the lockdown restrictions, some lucky players are getting the chance to enjoy themselves playing a brass band instrument...

Band Supplies
5 year old Florence Tucker has already taken a fancy to the 4BR prize!

Despite the new regulations and restrictions imposed by the Coronavirus, there is still a great sense of endeavour and enjoyment about playing and performing on a brass band instrument that is never lost.

Joy

That seems to be perfectly summed up the joy shown on the face of 5 year old Florence Tucker as she takes the cheeky opportunity to play on the cornet won by her mother, Sarah in the recent 4BR British Open quiz.

Sarah plays trombone with Hebden Bridge Band and was delighted to win the Besson Prodige cornet which was provided by Band Supplies.

However, any hopes that it would be quickly picked up by her eldest son aged 7 were put on hold as Florence immediately look a fancy to it and is now learning to play on it each day!

The instrument is really lovely and I would definitely recommend it to beginners or studentsFlorence's mum

Great sounds

Sarah told 4BR: "She's hardly let her brother get near it and won't put it down!
She's learnt C, D and E so far and is making some great sounds.

The instrument is really lovely and I would definitely recommend it to beginners or students.

Thanks again for a fabulous prize which has started my daughter on the way to enjoying brass bands as much as I do!"
