The East Anglian Brass Band Association (EABBA) has cancelled their annual Brass Training Day which was due to take place in Norwich on 25th October.
Association Secretary Christine Wade told 4BR: "With an anticipated attendance of around 70 brass musicians we had no choice other than to cancel the event given the current circumstances.
The tutors were to have been from the Leyland Band and we are delighted that they have agreed to take the 2022 event."
90th anniversary
2021 will see the Association celebrate its 90th anniversary. Current plans include a Solo and Ensemble contest and entertainment competition in May followed the same day by a concert by Cory Band. The 2021 Brass Training Day will take place in October.
