Members of the Fulham Brass Band teamed up with comedian and actor Jack Whitehall for a socially distanced 'Father's Day Special' screened on BBC One on Friday 19th June.
Pranks
Despite being in 'lockdown' mode they were able to take part after the production team adhered to strict social distancing protocols as the ensemble made up of nine players helped Jack pull off one of a number of 'pranks' on his father — this one at 6.00am in the morning.
The band arrived on the back of a flat-back outside Michael Whitehall's home in Putney, where accompanied by Jack on cymbals they performed an impromptu rendition of 'The Dambusters' — much to his obvious exasperation, despite it being one of his supposed musical 'favourites'.
Great fun
Band Manager, Jonti Smith later told 4BR: "It was great fun and a new challenge to be involved in socially distanced filming, with the added bonus of getting meet and play together again."
