Despite not being able to rehearse, Fulham Brass Band has been keeping its members engaged, informed and entertained during the Coronavirus pandemic lockdown thanks to a series of weekly on-line initiatives.
Star sessions
Since lockdown the band has been engaging in weekly learning session on Zoom with specials guests such as Sheona White, Bramwell Tovey, Peter Graham, Carol Jarvis, Roger Webster, Philip Harper, Jannicke Ellingsen and David Childs.
Not only that, but they have also enjoyed yoga sessions and even high intensity aerobics.
Line-up
The forthcoming list of guests would even make Graham Norton green with envy though as on Monday 15th June they link up with American Emmy award winning composer Bruce Broughton, followed by the legendary former New York Philharmonic Orchestra trumpet player Philip Smith (Monday 29th June) and percussion star, Simone Rebello ( Monday 13th July).
On Monday 20th July there is the unique chance to meet up with the British composer Anna Meredith, whose electro-acoustic tracks are making a huge impression in the musical world4BR
Unique chance
On Monday 20th July there is the unique chance to meet up with the British composer Anna Meredith (above), whose electro-acoustic tracks are making a huge impression in the musical world — from the 'Last Night of the Proms to Chloe and Fendi fashion design campaigns and the Netflix original series 'Living with Yourself' starring Paul Rudd.
