Brass Bands England (BBE) has launched the next segment of its current Brass Band Contesting Survey.
Part 5 covers the National Championship competition.
BBE states that the overall survey is designed to find out people's views on the current state of brass band contests. Those interested can complete any parts of it if they so wish. Part 5 should take about 10-15 minutes to complete.

Significant
BBE Partnership & Relationship Development Manager, Alex Parker told 4BR: "There have now been over 1,550 responses, which is an astonishing number and will form a really significant piece of research.
Many of the ideas and responses have been really interesting and we look forward to sharing them in the final report."
Alex revealed that other than Northern Ireland, Scotland is the least represented region in the current national competitions with less than half the responses of Wales. The North of England has the fewest responses in England, 25 less than both Yorkshire and the West of England.
The most represented is London & Southern Counties, closely followed by the North West (see above).
All parts of the survey are still available and can be completed any time until the survey concludesBrass Bands England
Still available
He added: "If you are from the devolved countries it would be great to hear more from you as well as those regions less represented. All parts of the survey are still available and can be completed any time until the survey concludes."
One participant from each part of the survey is picked at random to receive a year's free individual membership of Brass Bands England.
Colin Dye of Reg Vardy Band and Ray Speed of Barnsley Brass are the latest recipients.
