The band from West Oxfordshire recently made a VE Day isolation performance video which was viewed over 40,000 times around the world, whilst their first effort (which happened to be the 'Countryfile' theme tune) was secretly passed onto the programme's production team who loved it so much they asked the band to appear on the show.
There is an interview with presenter John Craven who talks about the history of the band which includes an appearance at Enderby Jackson's 'National Contest' at Crystal Palace in 1860.
