Following the recent announcement that Foden's Band has been successful in an application for Arts Council England 'Covid 19' funding, the North West regional champion has announced that Carole Crompton has become a new Vice President.

Delighted

Speaking on behalf of the trustees, Andy Rolfe told 4BR: "Everyone at Foden's is delighted that Carole has accepted our offer to become a Vice President.

She is of course a former player and since becoming our Strategic Arts Funding Advisor in 2016 has been instrumental in helping the organisation secure over £108,000 of funding across four successful bids to Arts Council England and the Heritage Lottery Fund.

With this further successful bid in place we can work on other innovative projects and explore other art funding avenues."

Progressive

In response, Carole, who recently celebrated 50 years of personal commitment to the banding movement, told 4BR: "Foden's holds a special place in my banding heart as well as being the type of organisation that has such a refreshing and progressive arts orientated outlook.

That is recognised by Arts Council England in their collaborative initiatives and youth led projects."

They are a band that I'm delighted to be associated with in my professional work in helping organisations to deliver leading Arts and Heritage projectsCarole Crompton

Proud

Carole added: "They are a band that I'm delighted to be associated with in my professional work in helping organisations to deliver leading Arts and Heritage projects.

I look forward to continuing my work with Foden's and feel very proud to accept this position."
