Foden's Band has announced that they have been successful in obtaining £33,450 through Arts Council England's National Lottery funded 'Covid 19' programme.
Arts Council England (ACE) made £160 million of emergency funding available for individuals and organisations to apply for if they had been previous recipients of ACE funding and had suffered as a result of the pandemic.
Guidance stated that the funding had been set up to 'afford practitioners and organisations time to stabilise, to think, and to plan for the future.'
Grateful
Foden's spokesperson Mark Wilkinson told 4BR: "We're extremely grateful to ACE for accepting our application. Like all organisations Foden's have been seriously affected by Covid 19 and the funding allows us to look at ways to increase our online presence and interact with audiences in a new and innovative way.
We are also able to purchase equipment and work with professionals to allow us to become a leader in this area."
