Musicians across the world are still making music during the Coronavirus pandemic thanks to over 6,000 free pieces of music provided by the Warwick Music Group.
The makers of the award winning pBone trombone and family of plastic instruments have been providing free digital downloads of their most popular sheet music titles. They will now continue to do this until at least the end of June.
Top 10 sellers
Pieces include their top ten best-selling music titles and the full instrumental range of their popular 'Music Marvels' for students.
CEO, Steven Greenall told 4BR: "In these challenging times when making music together has become more difficult, our team and composers have worked in partnership to support the musical community.
By making these digital downloads free we can support teachers, students and parents with remote learning or online lessons."
Everyone will benefit
Many leading musicians are supporting the initiative, with former London Symphony Orchestra member and founder of the British Trombone Society Peter Gane, saying that he hoped "everyone will benefit", whilst teacher and composer Adrian Taylor, added; "During this unprecedented time it's inspiring to see how music is playing such a significant role in keeping us all going."
Education professionals have also expressed their thanks, with Nick Dolling, Assistant Principal at Musica Kirklees saying: "A huge thank you for this goodwill gesture from all our staff, and no doubt our pupils!"
