National Youth Champs on the horizon

The National Youth Championship of Great Britain will take place at the Magna Centre near Rotherham at the end of the month — so make sure you get your tickets.

The National Youth Championships of Great Britain will be held at the spectacular Magna Centre in the heart of South Yorkshire, near Rotherham on Saturday 28th March.

Packed day

It promises to be a day packed full of fun, excitement and brilliant performances with a host of brilliant youth bands and ensembles performing in the venue's Big Hall and Red Hall.

The set test-piece for the Championship Section is Philip Sparke's wonderfully inventive 'Saint-Saens Variations', whilst the Intermediate, Elementary and Debut performers get to showcase their talents with own-choice programmes.

The event will also host a trade and careers fair, as well as representatives of musical traders and manufacturers. There will also be showcase performances throughout what promises to be a very exciting day's music making.
