Chapeltown go soft with Musicwearetc

Yorkshire band goes for the softer dynamics with their walking out uniforms...

The players sport their new softshell jackets

Chapeltown Silver Prize Band have recently purchased a set of softshell jackets from the leading supplies, Musicwearetc.co.uk

A spokesperson told 4BR: "We needed to replace our walking out uniforms and decided to look at softshell jackets instead to wear to and from engagements. Once we received them they also proved to be ideal for our carolling engagements, especially the couple of outdoor ones we had."

Really impressed

They added: "We were really impressed by the quality of the products available, their value for money and the customer service provided by Lloyd Shipp and the team.

He took the time to meet with officials, to show us the range of products and give us the right advice on what could suit our needs. You could tell he's a true bandsman at heart!"

In response Lloyd told 4BR: "These are the type of connections that not only show what we do is helping bands, but that community banding is thriving under inspirational leadership. What a super band and super people."

Lloyd revealed that he was able to work closely with the band to ensure they were happy with the embroidery swatch of their choice for their logo and that we could deliver on an agreed date.

As the band spokesperson added: "We are extremely satisfied with the jackets and are also looking to purchase other merchandise from the company within the coming months, including new ties, stage banners and polo shirts."
