The Slaithwaite Band has announced a quartet of new signings ahead of the upcoming contest season.
Andrew Knight take over the flugal role with the Yorkshire Area Second Section band, with Bev Hallworth comes in on second cornet.
RNCM student Rhys Edwards joins on solo euphonium from Hawk Green, whilst former Boarshurst Band top man, Neil Booth will now take the same role as the new principal cornet.
Delighted
Speaking about his signing, Andrew Knight told 4BR: "Slaithwaite is an extremely friendly and sociable band who is striving for further success.
I'm delighted to be given the opportunity to play such a key role in their future."
Enormous progress
In response to the news, MD Matt Hindle told 4BR: "These four signings highlight the enormous progress we're now making in such a short space of time. Filling three principal positions with high quality players has been a real boost, whilst Bev has come in and given us extra experience on the back row."
The band took time to thank Joanne Griffith who steps down after the Yorkshire Area to take some time out from playing, although Matt added that they were confident that it won't be took long before she returns.
They also thanked long serving euphonium player Andrea Stead for her commitment and dedication over the years.

Infectious
Looking to the immediate future Band Chairman Mark Eastwood added: "The progress in the bandroom at the moment is infectious, with everyone working hard.
We're looking forward to Brass at the Wire and the Areas to showcase our new players, whilst celebrating as a band at the annual band dinner in February."
