Bands competing at this weekend's Scottish Open Championship are being reminded that the draw for the contest on Saturday 23rd November will take place at 12.30 pm, with the first band taking to the stage at 1.30pm.

Waverley

The Scottish Open Championship will take place at Perth Concert Hall on Saturday 23rd November, where 14 bands will mark the 150th anniversary of the death of Hector Berlioz with their performances of Howard Snell's new arrangement of his 'Waverley' overture, plus a fanfare and march written by Howard himself.

July 3 • Haverhill Silver Band (championship section) seeks a PRINCIPAL CORNET. This is a superb opportunity to lead East Anglia's premier brass band on the concert and contest stage (including the Senior Cup and Whit Friday).
