Cleveland State University's School of Music students recently received a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity thanks to the acclaimed classical music conductor Timothy Reynish.
The noted wind ensemble director invited the CSU Symphonic Wind Ensemble and the CSU Chamber Winds to record with him as part of his latest CD album which was released this summer.

It also included performances by euphonium soloist David Childs, and was conducted by Reynish and Birch Browning, professor of music education and conductor of bands at CSU and music director of the Cleveland Winds.
The project featured the world premiere recording of the new 'Euphonium Concerto' by composer Adam Gorb.
"We were thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Tim, David and Adam to create these beautiful performances,"Birch Browning told 4BR.
"It was a tremendous learning experience for our students, and provided the kind of 'real world' opportunities that are critical to helping them become professional musicians in their own right."
