Exceptional contribution

A spokesperson told 4BR: "At this year's Brass Band Conference we will be celebrating individuals and organisations in the banding world who have made an exceptional contribution to brass banding.

The Brass Band Conference Awards are for our community with nominations from our community so don't miss out on making a nomination."

Award Categories:

The Innovation Award:

We are looking for people or organisations who are setting a new trail for brass bands.

We want to hear if you know someone who has done something innovative to make your band better or perhaps nominating an organisation you think is really leading the way.

The Lifetime Achievement Award:

For this we are looking for people or organisations who have really made a difference to their local community or carried out wider charitable endeavours.

The Social Impact Award:

We are looking for people who have made an outstanding contribution to banding whether that's musically or in organising bands. We want to hear about the people that have shaped you banding experience for the better.
