The Coalburn organisation has hosted their second annual 'Coalburn's Got Talent' event.
Set up to create the opportunity for players of all ages and abilities across the organisation's four ensembles to perform a solo item in front of their peers and an adjudicator, it proved to be another great success.
Held at the local St John's Hall, the band welcomed special guests Scott Kerr to adjudicate and pianist Nicola McKenzie to accompany many of the soloists. The principal euphonium with Whitburn provided written feedback to all participants as well as giving his own performance of 'Donegal Bay' accompanied by Nicola at the end of the event.
