4BR was in Glasgow this week to take a closer look at the way in which music making and teaching is promoted and developed in Scotland.
The Music Education Partnership Group hosted a celebration day at Glasgow Concert Hall, representing over 50 bodies with a direct interest in the delivery of music education in the country.
One of the people attending was Fiona Hyslop MSP, Scotland's Minister for Culture, Tourism and External Affairs who took time out of her busy schedule to speak to 4BR about how important youth music making is to the nation.
