Butlins entries set to be boosted by youth

The 2020 Butlins Mineworkers Festival Championship is looking to attract more youth and unregistered bands — so make sure you get in touch.

Butlins
The 2020 Butlins Championship is looking to attract more youth and unregistered ensembles.

Bands are already registering their entries for the 2020 Butlins Mineworkers Championship, with the organisers now keen to help youth bands and unregistered ensembles take part in the weekend.

Response

A spokesperson told 4BR: "We have been delighted by the early response to the 2020 Festival and would encourage bands to get in touch so that we accommodate their needs.

We are especially keen to hear from youth and un-registered bands who would like to be a part of a wonderful weekend as we are keen to keep developing the grass roots of contesting.

We have sent out information and entry packs to those who competed and 2019, but if anyone wishes to enquire about what we have to offer please get in touch as soon as possible."
