The Wigston Band has announced that due to personal and work related reasons their musical partnership with MD Chris Small has come to an end.

Highlights

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Over the last three years Chris has taken the band on a wonderful journey with many exciting contests and concerts along the way. Highlights were a great Proms event in Hinckley and no less than four podium competition finishes including coming runner-up on his final appearance with us at the recent Brass on the Grass contest."

They added: "We would like to thank him for all of his hard work and support he has given to our members and we wish him all the best on his well earned break."
