The Stavanger Band will be making a welcome visit to the UK later this month.
The multiple Norwegain National and Siddis Entertainment Champion will first stop off in Manchester where they will team up for a concert with Fairey Band as recently crowned European Youth Championship Development Section winners Wardle Academy Youth.
They will then head to North Wales to link up with the renowned male voice choir Côr Y Penrhyn for a concert in the magnificent surroundings of Bangor Cathedral to help raise funds for the Motor Neurone Association and St. David's Hospice.
The band and choir have previously worked together when Côr Y Penrhyn visited Stavanger in 2018.
Looking forward
Resident Conductor Adam Cooke told 4BR that the band is looking forward to their trip and to two special concerts.
"We are all thrilled to be making the trip across to the UK to link up with some great bands and a fantastic choir for two very special concerts.
We're looking forward to joining our friends at Faireys and to hearing the recently crowned European Champions at Wardle Academy Youth Band, whilst the link with Côr Y Penrhyn should also make for a very special occasion."
