The three young players who will represent Wales in the European Youth Brass Band at the forthcoming European Championship Festival in Montreux will be able to enjoy the experience thanks to additional financial help provided by the Welsh banding movement.
Trio
Cornet players Owain Llestyn and Ffion Morris, and tuba player Josh Worman will each receive £300 to help meet their costs thanks to the initiative set up by the Welsh representative body Ty Cerdd alongside Cory and Tredegar Bands.
The European representatives and Welsh Champion each gave £250, alongside contributions from the three Welsh Brass Band Associations and individual donations.
