Tickets for the 43rd Brass in Concert Championships to be held at Sage Gateshead on the weekend of 16th/17th November have already started to be snapped up.
The exciting line-up of competing bands is to be announced shortly, but already there has been demand from the brass banding public.
Attractions
The festival weekend is sponsored by Yamaha, Banks Group and British Bandsman, and will kick off on the Saturday with a performance by the talented youngsters of the Elementary Band from schools in the Bedlington and Ashington area.
It will be followed by the second Youth Brass in Concert Championship, which got off to such a fantastic start in 2018.
Taster Sessions and other education events will complement the youth contest before Brighouse & Rastrick, conducted by David Thornton will team up with David Childs to provide the entertainment at the World of Brass in Concert (7.30pm).

The organisers confirmed to 4BR that the line-up for the world's most prestigious entertainment contest will soon be announced.
They stated: "We are in the final stages of securing the line-up and will announce this soon. Yet again it promises to be a memorable weekend, so please make sure you get the seat you want by booking early!"
