Vizzutti to join National Youth course

The brilliant American trumpet star Allen Vizzutti will be the guest soloist with the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain this April.

  Allen Vizzutti will join up with the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain for two concert appearances.

The 2019 Easter Course of the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain will take place at Harrogate Ladies College from Saturday 13th April to Saturday 20th April.

It will be once again led by NYBBGB Artistic Director Bramwell Tovey, recently appointed Principal Conductor of the BBC Concert Orchestra.

He will be joined this year by guest conductor Mark David, Head of Brass at the Royal Academy of Music, former Principal Trumpet of the Philharmonia Orchestra and current Principal Trumpet of St. Martin's-in-the-Fields.

Mark will direct the course and will share the conducting with Bramwell Tovey at the end of course concerts.

The guest soloist this year is the remarkable American trumpet player Allen Vizzutti who makes a welcome return to the UK.

A performer with a worldwide and world-class reputation as a performer, teacher and composer, he is sure to attract fans from far and wide to come to the concerts at Harrogate Ladies College and Morley Town Hall4BR
