The European Brass Band Association has announced the line-up of talented players that will form the 2019 European Youth Brass Band [EYBB] in Montreux.
It will be the sixteenth time that the ensemble will play an integral part in the festival, with 38 players aged between 18 and 22 from 15 different countries making the trip to Switzerland.
Busy
A busy itinerary for the band has been created under the baton of Veronique Gyger with a focused schedule of rehearsals, concerts and social events, the highlight of which will be the band's participation in the Saturday evening Gala Concert where they will share the stage with 2018 European Champion Valaisia Brass Band conducted by Arsene Duc.
The band will also help close the festival with a special 'Farewell Concert' following the European Youth Brass Band Championship event the following day.
