Musical memories for Evans and Foden's

The partnership of Richard Evans and Foden's will provide the backdrop for all his great stories, anecdotes and memories...

Richard Evans
Richard Evans will be both leading and sharing his musical experiences.

One of the brass band world's most inspirational and successful conductors is to share stories, anecdotes and experiences of his amazing musical life at a concert with National Champion Foden's in March.

Reveal all

Having enjoyed successful relationships with numerous brass bands across the globe for over 70 years, the former conductor of Wingates, Leyland, Grimethorpe, Brighouse & Rastrick, Fairey and the National Youth Brass Band of Scotland amongst others will be ready to reveal all at 3.30pm on Sunday 17th March at Chorley Town Hall, accompanied by Foden's Band.

Inspiration

Speaking about the event, Foden's solo trombonist John Barber told 4BR: "Richard is such a good friend and inspiration to so many in our movement.

Whilst his achievements speak for themselves, his stories and memories of his life through music are always wonderful to listen to and enjoy.

In that respect it's great that for at least one afternoon, they can be enjoyed by the wider public too."
