Jonathan Pippen has once again taken up the conducting reins at Staines Brass.

The Welshman was Musical Director from 2013-2016 before having to relinquish the role due to the demands of being appointed principal trombone and assistant Musical Director on the West End production of 'Half a Sixpence'.

Since leaving the RAF in 2015 Jonathan has become a busy freelance musician, but he has a special relationship with Staines Brass, and we are looking forward to working with him to strive for a successful 2019 and beyondStaines Brass

Rebuilding

Staines now hopes he will lead them through an important phase of rebuilding and recruiting, with the aim of regaining their position in the top flight of London & Southern Counties banding.

A band spokesperson told 4BR: "Since leaving the RAF in 2015 Jonathan has become a busy freelance musician, but he has a special relationship with Staines Brass, and we are looking forward to working with him to strive for a successful 2019 and beyond."
