Morley ready with the march and hymn test

The popular Morley March & Hymn Tune Contest will take place once again this June.

It's been announced that the 13th Morley March & Hymn Tune Contest will be held in Morley, West Yorkshire on Sunday 16th June this year.

The format of the contest is in traditional style; comprising a road march followed by each band playing three verses of a hymn tune before concluding with a contest march.

Open to all bands

The own-choice contest is open to all bands from Championship Section to Youth.

All proceeds from the contest go to the Morley & District Lions organisation, which has the support of the Mayor of Morley and the Morley Community Development Committee.
