Camborne welcome new year trio

New Year celebrations in order for Camborne Band as they welcome a trio of new signings.

Signings
There are three new signings to welcome into the Camborne ranks to start 2019.

The Camborne Band will have a trio of new signings to welcome in the New Year.

They include the return of former principal cornet and flugel Stuart Chappell on front row cornet after enjoying a successful tenure as Musical Director of Lanner Band. He will be joined by Lia Teague from St Dennis Band where she played solo cornet. Also joining is the experienced baritone player Paula Chappell from Lanner Band.

Great assets

Camborne MD, Kevin Mackenzie told 4BR: "All three signings are going to be great assets to us as we start the contest season in 2019. Both Stuart and Paula bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm, whilst Lia is such a talented young player."
