Mid West converts and customers for Musicwear in Chicago

Lloyd Shipp and the Musicwear etcteam have been enjoying converting thousands of American education specialists to the joys of brass banding...

Musicwear
Lloyd Shipp has been enjoying showcasing Musicwear's products at the biggest event in the world.

The Musicwear etc team is currently in the USA showcasing its market leading products at the famous Mid West Clinic in Chicago.

The education conference is the biggest of its kind in the world — regularly attracting over 17,000 attendees from across all corners of the USA and beyond, with a mind boggling array of events, performances, seminars, clinics and exhibitions to add to the occasion — from talks on 'The Art of the Sousa March' to 'How to Communicate with Percussionists'.

Regular visitor

Lloyd Shipp of Musicwear etc has been a regular visitor over the years and told 4BR that the event provides the ideal opportunity not just to showcase his company's products, but to also increase awareness about the worldwide British brass band scene.

"To say it's an incredible event doesn't quite do it justice,"he said. "You set up and then sit back and welcome thousands upon thousands of visitors — and potential customers.

Many of the world's biggest musical brands are here and you can see why. You have to say, it's well worth a visit!"

Converts

He added: "One of the great things about the event is the enthusiasm of people who want to find out as much as possible about who you are and what you do.

The Americans love 'British' brass bands — so a great deal of the time you making new converts as well as customers!"
