Warm welcome for Atlantic visitors

There will be a warm welcome for Atlantic Brass Band as they reach the UK later this month — especially from their friends at the TCTC Group Band. .

  The Atlantic Brass Band is looking forward to their trip to the UK

The will be a warm welcome for American brass band visitors to the UK later this month when Atlantic Brass Band land on these shores to take part in the Brass in Concert Championship.

As part of their trip, the 2017 US Open Champion will perform in a free concert with their friends at the TCTC Group Band at Ruskin Road Community High School , Crewe, on Friday 16th November (7.30pm)

Speaking to 4BR, TCTC Group Band MD Jef Sparkes said: "We offer a warm welcome to Atlantic Brass Band for what promises to be a great night of entertainment.

Atlantic will give a run-out of their Brass in Concert programme, whilst we will also give a sneak preview of the test-piece we will be playing at the Scottish Open."

He added: "We enjoy a close connection as players from both bands have regularly crossed the Atlantic in both directions to play with each other, with our principal cornet Sarah Sparkes playing with them whilst they are in the UK."
