  John Pearson has become the new MD at Freckleton Band

The Freckleton Band has announced the appointment of John Pearson as their new Musical Director.

John joins from Blackpool Brass, where he gained an impressive set of contest results, including victory at the Brass at the Guild event as well two podium finishes at the North West Area contest.

Also joining the band is Kev Cole on Eb tuba as well as Ben Robinson and Alice Walker on cornet. Kev joins from London & Southern Counties champion Friary Guildford, with Ben coming from Haslingden & Helmshore.

We are looking forward to returning to the Championship Section next year and we're really pleased that John has agreed to take overFreckleton Band

March 13 • Cornet and bass players required. We are a fun and relaxed non contesting band and are looking to swell our numbers. Players of any instrument will be very warmly welcomed, but we would really love some more cornets and basses (instruments available).
