The successful musical link between Milnrow Band and Musical Director Mark Bentham has come to end.

The mutual decision concludes a four year partnership that saw the championship band claim the 2017 All England International Master title, come runner-up in the same year at the North West Area Championship and claim multiple victories at the popular Rochdale Contest.

Band Manager Frances Thewlis told 4BR: "We would like to publicly thank Mark for his hard work and commitment over the past four years.

It is understood that the band is currently in the process of appointing a new conductor, with an announcement to be made in due course.
