Audience Prize
In addition, audience members, home viewers and anyone accessing the broadcast outlets will be able to vote for their favourite band performance — with the process leading to the award of a special 'Audience Prize' sponsored by Warwick Music.
It all been done through a specially 'weighted' algorithm which means the more bands you listen to and vote on (out 50 on each performance) the more it matters — so listen in and become your very own adjudicator for the contest of your choice!
Social media
The day long broadcast will be hosted by 4BR Editor Iwan Fox and Brass Band World's Chris Thomas with people encouraged to use social media at #bolsoverbrasslive2018 to share their opinions on the performances and to wish good luck to their favourite players and bands.
