BrassPass
BrassPass.tv brings you a programme dedicated to bands outside the Championship Section

BrassPass.tv has announced that the first episode of its new show, 'Brass Roots' is now available to subscribers to view on the platform as part of their regular subscription.

All viewers have to do is go to: www.brasspass.tv and it is under the 'On Demand' section.

Outside Championship Section

Brass Roots is dedicated to bands outside the Championship Section — with content geared towards community and youth bands, not only in the UK, but with features from across the world.

In the first episode, Elland Youth and Wardle Junior Blast are featured, along with the band from the Elementary School of Japan.

Supporting bands

The Brass Roots series is sponsored by Brass Bands England as part of their remit for supporting banding across all sectors, and includes an interview with its newly appointed CEO, Kenny Crookston.

Lee Skipsey and the City of Bradford organisation are also featured, having just added a third band to their incredible structure, whilst there is also extensive coverage of the recent world premiere of 'Surtaal Suite No 1', by composer Liz Lane.

Fusion

This is an amazing fusion of traditional band and exciting Punjabi bhangra rhythms was premiered at the recent Proms in the Park event promoted by Lydbrook Band.

It's an amazing show highlighting the very best of world banding, so be sure to tune in.
