Trio of concerts ahead for National Youth Band of Wales

The National Youth Brass Band of Wales will give concerts in Neath, Newtown and Cardiff later this month led by Philip Harper.

The National Youth Brass Band of Wales will be heard in concert later this month under the baton of Cory MD Philip Harper.

The ensemble will be joined by Black Dyke principal euphonium, Daniel Thomas, a former member of the band, for a trio of concerts in Neath, Newtown and Cardiff.

The demanding repertoire to be included on this year's course will include John Golland's 'Euphonium Concerto', Etienne Crausatz's 'Balkan Dance' and Philip Harper's own 'East Meets West'.
