Cory Band has welcomed the signing of Kyle Blake as its new second trombone player.

Kyle has been the principal trombone of the Championship Section City of Bradford Band, and will be moving from Yorkshire to South Wales in the next few weeks to take up the position.

Musical Director Philip Harper commented: "After an exhaustive audition process, we are delighted to have secured this outcome. Kyle impressed us all during our recent concert in Bangor, since when he has successfully got a new job in our area, starting in September.

He's young, talented and hungry for success, and I look forward to seeing him develop in Cory Band."
