Camborne Town Band has announced the signing of two new players.

Andrew Rice joins on bass trombone, whilst Emma Jackson comes in on second horn — both from Bodmin Band.

MD Kevin Mackenzie told 4BR: "I'm pleased to welcome Andrew and Emma. We've been without a bass trombone for a while and as a specialised position I'm delighted Andrew, who has such experience comes into the team.

Emma was previously playing solo horn with Bodmin and has enjoyed a very successful time with them, as well as directing the training band which she will continue to do. She is such a valuable signing for us."
