The Association of Brass Band Adjudicators has announced that the highly respected musician and performer Sheona White will become a member of the organisation.

Great asset

A spokesperson told 4BR: "As an experienced educator, coupled with a critically acclaimed solo and banding career and her dedication to developing the next generation of brass band performers, Sheona will be a great asset to the Association and the wider brass band contest scene."

It was also announced that Benjamin Richeton, who has recently completed the Association's rigorous two year training scheme, will now become a Full Member.

Welcome additions

The spokesperson added: "Both Sheona and Benjamin are welcome additions to the Association as we continue to develop its role within the brass band community — aiming to maintain and improve the professional level of brass band adjudicators."
