A celebration of 100 years of Women's Suffrage will be held in Cardiff this weekend, helped by the sound of an all-female brass band.
Musical accompaniment
The 'Processions' event takes place in the heart of the Welsh capital on Sunday June 10th, with Symphonic Brass Wales providing sterling musical accompaniment to both open and close the march through the city.
It will form part of the larger 'Processions' programme that also takes place in Belfast, Edinburgh and London with marchers celebrating the centenary by wearing the colours of the Suffrage Movement — green, white or violet.
Symphonic Brass Wales will perform from two static positions under the baton of Crwbin Band's Jacquie Scaife, at Cardiff City Stadium and Cardiff Castle.
The call is therefore being made to join the band for the occasion.
