Tenor horn star Sheona White has left National Champion Brighouse & Rastrick after four and a half years at the Yorkshire band.
Wonderful time
Sheona told 4BR: "I've enjoyed a wonderful time with Brighouse & Rastrick including many fantastic musical accomplishments along the way such as the release of my new solo CD 'Timeless' and of course my first ever Nationals win!
I would like to thank my friends and everyone associated with the band for all they have done for me while I have been there. I have some great memories to take with me and I wish them all the best for their exciting year ahead."
Tetra Brass
Sheona revealed that she will now take the opportunity to undertake her own exciting projects, including the launch of the quartet 'Tetra Brass' featuring Kathleen Gaspoz, Phillippe Schwartz and Dominic Longhurst, as well as expanding her increasingly busy schedule of teaching and solo engagements.
She added: "I'm really looking forward to having some more time to teach and perform as a soloist — areas of my musical career that have placed greater demands on me."
