Brighouse Festival of Brass packed with attractions

Brighouse Lions & District 'Festival of Brass' will take place on Sunday 1st July — with plenty of everyone to enjoy.

The 19th Brighouse Lions & District 'Festival of Brass' will take place on the weekend of Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July in the famous Yorkshire town.

On Saturday evening (7.15pm) the Gala Concert will be held at St Martin's Parish Church, Brighouse, featuring Clifton & Lightcliffe Band led by MD John Clay.

Contest

On Sunday 1st July, the annual March & Hymn Tune Contest will take place in Thornton Square, commencing at 12.30pm.

This year a record entry of 30 brass bands from youth to championship section will take part, including 2017 champion, Milnrow Band.
