Lesley Wilkinson will be getting on her bike to help the North Skelton Band get to Cheltenham...

Lesley Wilkinson will be leading the fund raising with her bike ride

The North Skelton Band has already started its fund raising efforts to enable them to reach the National Finals in Cheltenham in September.

Cycle lead

The North of England Second Section champion has no direct sponsorship help and so is looking to raise £1,000 to help with their transport and accommodation costs — with the mother of their MD, Lewis Wilkinson providing the lead.

Lesley Wilkinson, who plays trombone with the Fourth Section Lanchester Band is cycling from London to Paris on 28th June to help the cause.
