Watership look forward to Prague performances

Watership Brass will be heading to the Czech Republic in August to complete their fifth overseas tour.

Prague
The band hopes to enjoy the sights and sounds of Prague

Watership Brass from Newbury in Berkshire has announced that they will be heading to the Czech Republic later this year on an exciting five day tour of the country.

Based in Prague, one of the great cultural centres of Europe, the band will undertake three concerts in the city with another in the pretty spa town of Podebrady.

Fantastic opportunity

MD Mark Picken told 4BR: "This will be a fantastic opportunity to travel and perform to new audiences. The tour has been arranged to include concerts at great venues whilst also leaving plenty of time to explore.

I'm very grateful to the two band members James Cox and Tim Fowler who have volunteered to drive all the equipment overland and meet the rest of the tour party who are travelling by air."

Fifth tour

This will be Watership's fifth international tour since 2000, and follows successful trips to South Africa, Italy, Belgium and Germany.
