The hat-trick winning Yorkshire champion Black Dyke has made a new percussion signing.
Logan Hartley, a graduate of the University of Huddersfield where she studied with Chris Bradley, principal percussion at Opera North, joins the Queensbury band with immediate effect.
Outstanding
Director of Music, Prof Nicholas Childs told 4BR: "Logan is an outstanding asset to the percussion team and is steeped in the brass band tradition. She is also an excellent educator, so her signing adds yet another dimension to our outstanding percussion team."

Opportunity
In response Logan told 4BR: "This is a wonderful opportunity for me as a performer and one I couldn't miss out on, and I would like to take this opportunity of thanking my friends at Carlton Main Frickley where I have had a very enjoyable time, creating so many exciting performances."
Logan's first concert with Black Dyke will be at Rotherham Minster on 3rd May.
