Foden's set for Morrison quartet link

Foden's has announced that they will appear alongside the famous James Morrison Quartet at the RNCM in Manchester in July.

Foden's has announced that will appear in concert at the Royal Northern College of Music Sunday 15th July with the famous James Morrison Quartet.

World leader

Foden's Mark Wilkinson told 4BR: "We're delighted that we have been able to secure the services of one of the world's leading jazz ensembles.

Since their formation in 2015, the group has taken the international music scene by storm appearing at major world festivals such as the BBC Proms with jazz superstar Dianne Reeves and the BBC Concert Orchestra to the Melbourne International Jazz Festival with Grammy Award winning diva Patti Austin."

He added: "The ensemble are in high demand winning numerous awards and accolades as well as releasing two critically acclaimed albums in the last two years. 'The Great American Songbook' recorded at Abbey Road in London with the BBC Concert Orchestra remained on the jazz charts for 11 weeks and was awarded Best Jazz Album at the 2017 ARIA Awards.

In November 2017, the group featured on 'Ella and Louis' released by ABC Jazz with Patti Austin and James Morrison."
