A formal announcement has been made by the Yorkshire Regional Committee that the 2018 Yorkshire Regional Championships will go ahead at Huddersfield Town Hall this weekend.

In a statement released by Regional Secretary Peggy Tomlinson it says: "After much deliberation, consideration of the logistics of re-organising the contest and despite weather conditions the decision has been taken that the Yorkshire Regional Championships will go ahead as planned on Sat/Sun 3rd/4th March 2018 at the Town Hall, Huddersfield.
In making this decision the committee would request the understanding of all our competing bands and wish them well in their support of our championships."
