The Cornwall Brass Band Association will be hosting its second 'Festival of Cornish Brass' on Saturday 3rd February at St Michael's Church in Newquay.
It follows the success of last year's event, and will see 14 bands provide a day of non-competitive entertainment (starting 10.00am) by performing 30 minute programmes.
Building on success
The Chairman of the Association told 4BR: "Last year's event proved to be such an enjoyable success that we hope to build on it again by giving the bands the opportunity to showcase their talents without worrying about contesting rules.
There is sure to be a great variety of music and plenty of outstanding playing for what is a unique event."
