Over the festive period representatives from a wide variety of West Yorkshire bands gave up their time to play carols to fundraise for Martin House Children's Hospice.
The group performed at the 'Ego' Mediterranean restaurant in Horbury near Wakefield and raised £562 for the children's charity, playing on three separate days including Christmas Eve.
Diners entertained
The players from Huddersfield & Ripponden, Gawthorpe Brass '85, Skelmanthorpe, Thurlstone, Hade Edge, Wakefield Orchestral Wind, Elland Silver, Wetherby Silver and the West Yorkshire Fire Service Band kindly gave up their time to entertain diners.

Giving up time
Event organiser and Huddersfield & Ripponden MD Adam Bell told 4BR: "It's incredibly humbling that so many people from so many bands freely give up their time to support these events at a time of year when everyone is so busy with their own organisations.
He added: "This is the thirteenth time we've run this event, but the first since the restaurant chain rebranded our local pub.
After its closure last January we were worried whether we'd be allowed to put on further events, but we've worked hard with the management staff to keep what has become a tradition going — and have already made plans to come back in 2018!"
